臺灣蟲生真菌的分子生態學及病蟲害整合管理應用

蟲生真菌是傑出的昆蟲生物防治菌,其廣泛地運用在農業用途並取代殺蟲劑的使用。該類真菌具有多樣的型態,在親緣演化上也十分地不一樣,生態上也非常多元。蟲生真菌中,像是北蟲草便是非常受歡迎的補品以及傳統中藥材。他們能製造多樣的生物活性物質,如:蟲草素、多醣體、麥角固醇和纖溶酶。這些次級代謝物展現治療上的遠景,包含抗病毒、抗真菌、抗高脂血症、抗發炎、抗白血病和抗癌等作用。目前,我們正在研究臺灣蟲生真菌的分子生態學以及病蟲害整合管理。同時,我們與沈湯龍教授合作分析蟲生真菌多元的生物活性物質及其應用潛力。


青蔥葉部真菌病害整合管理應用

青蔥(Allium fistulosum L.)是臺灣種植的最重要和最古老的蔬菜作物之一,扮演臺灣日常佳餚中的蔬菜,沙拉及香料等角色。相較於其他作物種植者,青蔥農更加關注葉部病害。宜蘭三星是臺灣主要的青蔥產區之一。與國內其他地區相比,得天獨厚的氣候型態配合當地特栽的青蔥品種,造就三星蔥極高的市場價值。青蔥真菌病害傳播迅速,且顯著影響收穫時節的青蔥品質與產量。然而,臺灣的青蔥真菌病害相關研究十分有限;再者,病害診斷謬誤經常對管理決策造成負面影響。

本實驗室團隊與行政院農委會花蓮區農業改良場合作,發現青蔥葉枯病的誤診已成為三星當地病害管理的一個問題。因此,需要研發新的途徑以提供適當的病害控管,並同時有效地減少化學藥劑導致的環境負荷。

本研究的主要目標有三:一、鑑定普遍致使青蔥病徵之病原菌;二、探討病原菌之流行病學;三、評估病原菌對殺真菌劑之敏感性,並篩選最佳藥劑以期用於控管真菌性葉病害。本研究團隊期許以減少化學殺真菌劑使用為原則,建立一套青蔥真菌性葉部病害綜合管理方法。
